About me

Birds fly high where I cannot see.

I was born to write. Now I know that. I’ve been writing for about ten years. At first, I didn’t know what poetry was. I started writing just to help empty my head from thoughts, which were tormenting me. I’m not even sure if it’s poetry.

In many years I hid the poems in my drawer, didn’t let anybody to read them. Suddenly the day came. The day I wanted to show my poems to the world. I want you to read my writing. I want everybody to read it. I started publishing about ten months ago on Tumblr, Instagram and Facebook. Creating a blog on WordPress is a next step to reach more people.

I’m not sure if I do it right. I’m not sure if my writing is either good or bad. I’m a complete amatour. Please don’t expect too much. I just know I can’t fight with it anymore. I can’t run away, can’t hide anywhere. Believe me, I tried to. I tried to push it away and close my mind on these thoughts. Didn’t work out. It will always find me, enslave me, and even kill me.

Mostly I write about my own experiences, but some of them are inspired by movies, songs, books or someone else’s experiences. If you don’t understand some of my poems – that’s ok. Neither do I. If I wrote something uncorrectly – I’m sorry. Forgive me all my mistakes, English is not my first language (I’m still learning).

What about photography? Photography is not only my passion, but it also complete my writing. My pictures express the feelings described in my poems. I create a world I want you to see, feel and live in it. At least for a moment.

If you want to know more about me and my writing – just ask.

  1. All the very best to you Weonika. It is SO good to write, whether it is deemed good or bad by anybody else doesn’t matter. Writing is either in you or it is not and it is obviously in you, as it is me. Lots of love to you.
