I’m lying on the ocean
and I’m dreaming about you.
Will you be my prince?
The one who
brings me sunflowers.
The one whose words
reach my heart.
The one who
brushes my hair aside.
The one who is
the sun on cloudy days.
The one who
can make me laugh.
Who wants to see a smile
on my face.
Will you be the one?
who cares what I feel
who listens what I say
who remembers what I like
who knows what I want.
Will you be my knight?
or another
episode
meaningless
dust
on my eyelash
that
uninvited
tried to come in
through the locked door

I love the last six lines, particularly the comparison!

From fairy tales, we wish for true love, but sometimes our “white” knight brings darkness never intended.
Thank you for following my writing. I plan to read more of yours.
